I hate to have this brought up, but I have been getting a lot of submissions to the gallery that are images, not textures. So please, only submit textures. It is stated in rule #7:
"When submitting your work, please submit only textures. Not images with textures being used."

Introducing new folders!
Some of you have requested a scifi folder be added to the gallery. If anyone has scifi-themed textures, please contribute to the folder here! I've also added a Cloth And Fabric folder,a Light And Rays folder, and a Fractal folder since people were adding fabric textures in inappropriate folders.
If you have any other suggestions for new folders, please do not hesitate to request them!

I apologize for the very long absence of any administration in this group and for any submissions that were denied due to voting deadlines not being reached. If you're new here, my name is Wes and I'm the founder of this group. Originally, my friend Chrisco97 and I founded this group together to help people find textures they needed easily and in one spot, but Chrisco had too many groups on his plate and decided to leave Texture Central to focus on only one group, leaving me as the only founder. Chrisco has since deactivated his account for reasons unknown, so it's only me here in any administrative position.

I totally agree. A lot of the submissions I could never use because they aren't textures.
